Anyone seen this? I saw it last night, and liked it overall, though I don’t think it was all that new or groundbreaking. It was a bit broad–it’s a documentary on America and the beauty industry and covers everything from carcinogens in make up to race issues to eating disorders. The most interesting part is when the filmmaker charts the progress of a 12 year old runway model, Gerren Taylor, from her early beginnings where she’s considered this breakout star to the end where the industry rejects her and she starts to feel ugly about herself.
