It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Mel Brooks’ original 1968 movie, but I caught something strange in the remake.
Max and Leo search for a bad play, and finally find Springtime for Hitler. Almost immediately, they decide to contact the author. They immediately head out the door to go see Franz. One suspects that they made no detours along the way. After a while on the rooftop, they head over to see Roger and Carmen. They are in such a rush that they forget to take off their swastikas. Max then asks Roger if he’s had a chance to read Springtime. Roger says that he has.
When did he have the opportunity? At what point did Max get him the script?
Am I missing something, or did I find a genuine flub?
