Are you kidding me? Kilborn was a total drag. What a bore. What has he done since? Do tell.
Whoa, I’m not saying he deserved anything special, I just found it jarring. As each correspondent came out, they all got their own applause break (and let’s face it, some of those people we’d forgotten existed), but when Kilborn came out, it was basically crickets chirping. I figured he’d at least get some token applause just to be polite.
Well he was in Old School.

That’s a good one. She was a huge part of the show’s early days. Thanks above to the person who made the list. Rachel Harris was another one who was on the show for quite a while.
Some trivia: the comedian Liz Winstead helped create the show but was pushed out in the shows early days by Craig Kilborn. Since she has a creator credit she gets a check every time an episode airs. Not a bad gig.

I had completely forgotten how utterly uninteresting or flat-out annoying so many of the correspondents were until seeing them all together last night.
I don’t think he came out. I think his line was taped. Somehow it felt like it, even though Jon ‘replied’ to him.
Maybe they just didn’t applaud because he wasn’t there.
The only ones I noticed were missing were Rachel Harris, who I’m a big fan of, and Beth Littleford, who I saw in one of the episodes during the marathon preceding the finale.
Speaking of which, did Olivia Munn get some plastic surgery done or something ? Throughout her bit, all I could think was “why do they all pretend like this is Munn ? She looks nothing like her !”.
Maybe it’s just the hair and the fact that when she was a correspondent you hardly saw her profile ; but it was weird.
I used to love Craig on the Daily Show and I really liked his late late show as well. He has the unfortunate situation where BOTH guys who replaced him were way better. Jon Stewart here and Craig Ferguson over there.
He did host the Late Late Show for 5 years. And he wasn’t even fired, though I assumed he was no matter what he said back then. Recently, he said, “I didn’t leave to do anything else, I left to leave. I achieved my career goals and it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.”
He isn’t that big on being on TV. I know he attempted a show once more, but I think he honestly does not enjoy being on TV.
And I liked him on Sportscenter, too.
It struck me as odd too.
AFAIK, Winstead never worked on the show while Stewart was there, so it would be really odd for her to show up for Jon’s finale. If it were the last episode of the entire show, it would make some sense, but why would she show up to say goodbye to a guy who she doesn’t have any sort of relationship with?
She looked different to me too but I think I still think of her a younger from her Attack of the Show days.
I didn’t notice the Arby’s bags, but I suspect there was a lot hidden in that video I also missed. I’ll have to watch it again.
Was hard to miss, there were like 5-6 of them in a row with the logos prominently displayed front and center.
It probably doesn’t help that I was making breakfast while I was trying to watch the show.
