After three years of retail hell, something new has finally come along. No more night shifts, or weekends. Better pay and more hours.

Only now, I just got over an ear infection on Thursday in my left ear, and now I feel like one is coming in my right ear. Please oh please tell me I’m imagining things. I have to buy scrubs, I don’t have the loot to go back to the doc!

it’s called a Reuse Technician. Just a fancy word for cleaning dialysis machines at a kidney center. I have to clean the plastic kidneys (not sure of technical term because I haven’t started yet), and measure out the solution for the dialysis machines.
A step up in my opinion from retail hell heh.

I haven’t trained yet, I don’t start until Sept. 27, but the lady there told me I’d probably train for 2 weeks. I’m nervous but excited as hell. Tomorrow I go scrubs shopping. Just one more step farther away from retail heh.

Ah, scrubs. Reputed to be very comfy. Can you wear different colors of them?
Yes! Any kind I want. I got a great deal yesterday, I bought 5 tops and 4 bottoms for $102.19! I love scrubs, I’ve worn them before with a previous job, but that was also about 60 lbs ago heh, so I had to buy more.
Ahh, to be home before 8pm, I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself.
