I’m bringing this here because it’s way too late to talk about it on AV Club and besides I didn’t see anything about it in the comments.
South Park has been incredibly Meta the last two seasons but this is ridiculous. Or…I’m just insane.
In the ninth episode…the “you’re watching an ad Hulu bar” started circling…except it was still South Park.
In the last episode…maybe i was still freaked out about that and was therefore paying attention more…but the ads that did run on Hulu during the episode? One…half the time I couldn’t tell what they were advertising…and two, they seemed so cheesy I
