WTF is with the difference in PC and un-PC terms between mine and Aguecheek’s? Because it’s not politically correct to prefer whites*, I don’t get to use the politically correct language?
I wouldn’t say I do. I would say that I’ve had more experience playing the game (knowing what they expect of me) with white people; I’ve not yet learned how to best present myself to people of other nationalities* without feeling awkward about the race thing.
**General population of - I have friends who aren’t white and with whom race has never been an issue. Gah! I can’t help but feel like I’m becoming really defensive about being pegged “racist”, so I’ll just slink off into the shadows now.
Well, color me unimpressed. Slight preference white over black, but you know what? Seems rigged to me.
I mean, the thing trained me to do “white + good” first. Of course when it switched I got a little tangled up. That’s like swapping the B & A keys on the nintendo controller. Guess what? If you do that, Mario dies a lot and Link gets fucked up by octorocks.
That’s my major criticism. Still interesting though.
Just for jollies, I tried out the sexuality test. I’m bi. I took the test and throughout I kept screwing up, and felt thoroughly confused. My results?
I was really hoping to blow the whole thing up. But ah well.
I’m not sure these tests are supposed to mean much of anything. If you know in your heart who you are and what/who you like/don’t like… I don’t know. What are these tests supposed to be for, anyway? Button-mashing with any amount of accuracy only proves to me that I should take a little time off from Mario Bros.
I agree with Doctor Who’s assessment of the test, though. It kind of reminded me of those tests where all the names of colors are written in differently colored font. Of course you’re going to screw that up!
I didn’t respond as quickly when the “Black + Bad” and “White + Good” were switched on me because I had to keep looking at my choices. Then those questions at the end, I hate doing things like that because most of the time, “somewhat” is the correct answer, and I wasn’t given that choice.
It says that I have a moderate automatic preference to whites over blacks.
Odd, considering I regularly date black guys. And my best friend is black.
I agree that the test is a bit flawed (for reasons other than the obvious, above)- the times I messed up, I did so because the keys changed. It was “WHITE GOOD” first, so of course when it became “BLACK GOOD” I got confused.
I’m off to join the Klan, it seems like the only appropriate thing to do at this junction.
