Find out the #1 song on your birthday (US or UK)

heh
Cool site! Memory lane and all that.
Too old (by one year) to get my day of birth.
On my 18th, it was “I Can See Clearly Now,” and it says that Johnny Cash did this song but I think they meant Johnny Nash. I do remember this reggae-like tune (he was backed by the Wailers) and I liked it a lot at the time.

It doesn’t do Australian ones, but I imagine it would have been something by the Beatles. They were in Sydney on tour at the time I was born.

At birth - The Love You Save - The Jackson 5

At 18 - Dirty Diana - Michael Jackson
That’s sorta odd.

Rain Drops Keep Fallin’ On My Head - B . J Thomas

Joy to the World by Three Dog Night

At birth, US: “Best of my Love” by the Emotions. Whoever they are.

At birth, UK: “Way Down” by Elvis Presley. Oddly enough, he’d been dead about a month.

18th birthday, US: “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio. Life theme song? I don’t even think so.

18th birthday, UK is even worse: “You Are Not Alone” by Michael Jackson.

Usher sings about how he had a piece on the side and she’s turned up 3 months pregnant, so now he’s gotta tell his “official” woman the news. We’re supposed to feel all sorry for him or something.

Yes, yes. In aboout 2 months, May 1st to be exact. Yours?

At birth: “Part-Time Lover” (US, Stevie Wonder).

Eighteenth birthday: “Baby Boy” (US, Beyonce).

Beyonce? I’m so ashamed…

On my day of birth in the US: Kung Fu Fighting :stuck_out_tongue:

Gah… On the day I was born * Surrender * Elvis Presley (not sure I’d recognize it??)

1st BD… * Hey! Baby * Bruce Channel

18th BD (My life’s theme song?? ) * Tragedy* The Bee Gees

21st BD * I Love Rock n Roll * Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

30th BD * Coming Out of the Dark * Gloria Estefan

40th BD * Butterfly * Crazytown

Man, aside from Joan Jett, I don’t recognize ANY of them (I think I know the Hey! Baaaaaaaby part of that one song…) but I’ve never been Top 40

Night Fever was a popular song then. Mine is April 2.

Birth Day - (Just Like) Starting Over - John Lennon (don’t know it)

18th Birthday - I’m Your Angel - R Kelly (gag)

21st Birthday - How You Remind Me - Nickleback (meh.)

I feel no connection to any of those songs.

As to the Popstrology website - I’m The Year of Blondie. heehee

Thanks Iceland. As I suspected, it was a Beatles song: Can’t Buy me Love.

Birthday - “My sweet lord” George Harrison. Hare, Hare!!

18th B-day - “Every rose has its thorn” Poison. Geez…blech!

Peaches & Herb-Reunited…Mmpffflufft

“Bad Moon Rising” by Creedence Clearwater Revival

“I hear hurricanes ablowing.
I know the end is coming soon.
I fear rivers over flowing.
I hear the voice of rage and ruin.”

That could explain a few things

Cool? I’d say disturbing, but maybe I’ve heard to many labor stories. Good song tho’. I hope I can hear it in the future without thinking about your mom.

My birthday song is uninteresting, so I checked my highschool graduation date, *Heaven * - Bryan Adams. At least I know the words.

On my last birthday, the number one song was Slow Motion - Juvenile feat Soulja Slim. I have never heard of it.

On my 0th birthday, 'twas Right Here Waiting - Richard Marx. I hate that song.

On my first birthday, 'twas Vision Of Love - Mariah Carey. I’ve probably heard that song at some point in my life, but I can’t remember it.
