I’m in the market for a car.
I was thinking of buying a particular vehicle and ran a carfax report on it. It was reported as being involved in an accident in NY on a certain date, and the carfax report provided the New York police case number.
I live in Illinois. Is there anyway for me to find out what was in the report (particularly if it mentioned the type of damage that was caused)?
