Firefox shouldn’t do this unless you specifically request it to. Go to Firefox/Options/Advanced/General/Accessibility and ensure that the box next to Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page is unchecked (which is the default) if you don’t want these warnings. Many sites use redirects for perfectly harmless purposes.
