I’m not gay, but I’ve been in gay bars, been to Chicago’s Pride Fest and even worked on the video projector in a gay porn theater and the things heterosexual men do with other heterosexual men when they cross the equator is a LOT more gay than any of those.

I’m very happy about this, even more so because I do know gay military men AND women who have had to walk on eggshells for the last decade or so. DADT was beyond dumb, and I’m glad that particular axe isn’t hanging over them any longer.
But ease up on Buchanan; it’s likely not as big problem as he he thinks it is, but it IS something relatively new thrown into the parenting equation, which is already very individually intricate.
Most straight men seem more tolerable of women kissing* in a sexual manner* than of men doing the same, to the point where there is a whole market of FF porn adressed to men.

FWIW, I remember my parents sitting me down to tell me some uncomfortable truth about a certain couple and I couldn’t figure out why they were so uncomfortable. They assumed that because they were uncomfortable then I would be.

“Girls can be girlfriends to each other?”

There is nothing to explain. You are on the wrong side of history. What’s likely to happen is that your kids will be ashamed of your worldview when they are your age. Just like people now whose parents were in favor of segregation.
