First Kiss

My first real, honest to God kiss was with daHubby on our first date. As I had absolutely NO knowledge of kissing [I only dated one other guy and it didn’t last more than a couple months], I was absolutely suprised when he asked me for a kiss. I kind of stood there, looking like an idiot, and said “Okay, if you want.”

Boy, am I glad I did

I was 17 and a friend that liked me wanted to teach me how to kiss. Since I liked her, I went for it. I know it was in her bedroom, and there was a lava lamp going.

Jean. Thank you forever.

There were several girls before her, but only one that (almost literally) knocked me off my feet with the first kiss. I married her 22 years ago & remember that kiss like it just happened.

Age 16, at a village Guy Fawkes bonfire a few miles from home. A complete stranger who I’d been interacting with - hardly call it chatting up - during the preceding hour or so, suddenly it seemed the right thing to do. Tongues and everything, and I’ve seldom known a better.

Next day I bicycled over to see her and tracked her down with the vicar’s aid but apparently I was someone she didn’t want to explain to her Mum and I never saw her again. Not untypical of my luck really, then or later. :sigh:

A bit late (age 18) but oooh, wow. It was at her doorstep, after a dance. Thanks, Janie.

I made out with a lot of guys throughout the years, but the kiss that most stands out in my mind is the one my (now) husband laid on me about 6 years ago.

He walked me to my car from the bar where we played pool and talked and talked and talked… he leaned in and kissed me and my knees about gave out.

He still takes my breath away, and we’ve been married five years now!
