Joe Martin is one of my favorite cartoonists. I prolly have 3 dozen Willy ‘n’ Ethel comics that I’ve cut out of newspapers over the years, and a handful of Mr. Boffo’s. Yeah, I keep a scrapbook after I remove them from the 'fridge rotation. I’m nutty like that. 
Today’s Boffo was so good, I had to share it and ask: how many other rungs are there on that ladder, and what do you figure comprises them?
I imagine there are as many ‘rungs’ on the karma ladder as there are actions with corresponding negative consequences…IOW, innumerable.
Let’s assume murdering a total stranger, without provocation or obvious motive comes at the top of the ladder, OK?
At the start, I’d say that 'not telling the shop assistant when you have been given greater change than entitled’ gets one a kiddie-ride on the karma express.
YMMV etc. 
The title makes it - a bit of Dante’s Inferno in everyday life…
