The credit is now available to long-time home owners as well. Must have owned and lived in the home for 5 years basically.
Are there any provisions that would disallow the credit if neighbors decided to trade homes?
Are you thinking of just trading on paper to get the credit? There is a requirment to live in the new home for two years I believe.
