All this talk about adult’s reading Harry Potter got me thinking as to what books I read as a child would I actually want to read again. I mean a book specifically aimed at children and I first read as one.
The one author that came to my mind was Nicholas Fisk. He was great, and now that’ve I’ve done a web search I’ve discovered he’s still writing. Particualrly good was ‘Time Trap’ and 'A Rag, A Bone And A Hank Of Hair". They were excellently constructed and thoughtful science fiction.
I think I still have a copy of ‘Time Trap’ somewhere, I think I’ll go dig it out and re-read it.
Anyone else read Fisk? Particularly his more recent ones. I must have missed out on the last 20 years of his writing at least!
