Some days pulls them out again and uses them.
That’s almost, every day.
How about taking they meant nearly daily?
Sushi knife - super sharp knife I use to cut lots of vegetables very quickly. Prize of my collection. I’ve got a couple of decent “meat” knives but I generally buy pre-cut meats to save on time.
A lot of the things already mentioned, and my KITCHEN SHEARS. My mother got me my kitchen shears as a gift, and I’m thinking “geez, who needs special kitchen shears? A pair of scissors will do ya just fine.”
After a year with my kitchen shears, I could not live without them. Who doesn’t love shears that cut meat?
can opener (electric except for high ridge can bottoms (to flatten for recycling or landfill space reduction, then manual) (less used now with all the pull tab tops)
scissors (to cut the end off bagged foods and poke holes in frozie dinner cover sheets before nuking)
freezer (to store banana peels until I make a dumpster run (slightly more often than I do my laundry-see other thread))
microwave oven (for ALL my cooking needs)
pliers, or Mr. Gilhooly (adjustable-jawed scissor-like clamper) for those Worcestershire bottle and other caps-see other thread)

Spice grinder or mortar & pestle
Some Asian wooden spoon thing I’ve had for years - has a wide “head” with a front edge that allows you to cut things up while stir frying.
Knife set including chef, santoku, bread, paring, small chef.

Rubber spatulas
A huge assortment of wooden implements
If it counts - alumninum foil.
