What is a flag casing ceremony?
I did an internet search, but all I was able to hit on was the fact that a batallion, or someone actually HAD one, not what it involves.

When a unit get decommissioned that unit’s colors (flag) gets cased. Basically the organizational flag gets put away and is no longer flown stating that unit no longer exists.
