Two part question here. I reckon the actual information is controlled so I am putting this here as maybe someone as an "educated guess’ or opinion on how this works
For those who don’t know Craigslist.Com is like a huge supermarket bulletin board and you can sell anything from old Windows95 copies to cars, to apartments to “adult services”
First of all does anyone know HOW the flagging works." For those who aren’t familiar if an ad offends you, you can flag or mark it for removal. You can do this for any reason and if enough people flag it, the ad is automatically removed. Craigslist give you a chance to repost it.
I see when you click the link to flag it, but HOW does it record the flag. Does it record you IP address?
Also I was wondering how many flags does it take to pull the ad?
I was wondering as I put in a “Wanted” ad. I wanted to get an old copy of Windows 98 upgrade and it kept getting flagged. I don’t know why.
But I am assuming the same person can’t just keep hitting the ad till it’s pulled as that would give too much control over one person
Any guesses?
