In Silicon Valley, this is a corollary to the Iceberg theorem which states that:
“Only 10% of anything is visible”
Which extends to the Generalized Iceberg Theorem:
“90% of everything is sh!t.”
Of all things, I feel I must quote from that seminal 1980s-era flick “Revenge of the Nerds,” wherein one of the Tri-Lambdas asks a date, “Would you rather live in a society during its ascendancy or its decline?”
