Eraserhead
The Celebration by Vinterberg.
The Dogma 95 rules (handheld camera, natural lightning only, no sound effects etc.) really, really work here.
Oh, and The English Patient was pretty darn close to being flawless.
The Usual Suspects
Dune
A Matter of Life and Death
Dark City
I so love this movie.
Most of the flics I’d have said have been mentioned.
Add Grosse Pointe Blank and J.Carpenters The Thing and my favorite movie of all time, Once Upon a Time in America.
The Ususal Suspects
Silence of the Lambs
Toy Story
[list][li]Babe[/li][li]The Road Warrior[/li][li]Die Hard[/li][li]The Sound of Music[/li]Die Hard 2
the only flawless movie I can think of is Alien (the first. The others, though good, were flawed)
Of course, there is one film that is clearly and unambiguously Flawless.
Apollo 13 - Howard often misses, but this time he took a story where we all knew they got home, and still made us worry about them. And the SCORE! I still tear-up through the launch sequence.
I’ll agree with yojimbo re: Grosse Point Blank.
The Sting
Everything about it was perfect - cast, script, score, direction, and it doesn’t look at all dated. Who could tell it was 30 years old? Beats “The Usual Suspects” all to hell for twisty, turny plot bits.
