The increasing attitude in media circles is that “comments sections” are considerably more trouble than they’re worth.
If we’re lucky, the new owners won’t notice this place - I’m sure its annual budget is probably less than keeping their staffroom stocked with tea and coffee - but if we’re not lucky, someone will say “Why are we running a messageboard with no real connection to our brand and full of people who don’t - and in many cases can’t - read our product?”
You can’t post photos *at *the SD but you can sure post links *to *photos stored elsewhere.
Tapatalk “helpfully” replaces clickable links to media files (pix, vids, etc) with a display link to the same file. So instead of seeing http://blahblah.com/something.jpg you see the pic itself. Or the first still of a vid. Whether you want to or not.
At least on the version of Tapatalk on my Android this is a setting you can turn on or off. The default is “On” so you see the pic, not the link to it. It’s kinda hard to find that setting though. One thing we’ve learned here the hard way is that the various flavors of Tapatalk for the various brands of device differ a lot. Not to mention the ever-changing latest version for your device that you may or may not have.
