Florentine art in Ottawa!

The National Gallery in Ottawa is having an exhibition of Florentine art of 1500 to 1550 this summer:

I think I’ve found my summer holiday.

Cool.

June to mid-July tends to be very nice; it gets muggy after that until late August. If you time it right you can hit the exhibit and make it for Canada Day. If it is nice out you get about 100,000 people wandering around, picnicking on Parliament hill, hanging out at the outdoor cafes and just generally having a great time.
