Flowers

I live in the north east and I’m looking for nice looking flowers that will grow back on their own every year and that are easy to grow and get started initially. Do you have any suggestions?

go to a plant store and ask what perennial plants grow good in your area. find ones you like. buy some.

you can get some that flower at different times during the year. some you can also eat. some that will spread. lots of choices.

Since the OP is looking for advice, let’s move this to IMHO.

“North east” is a big place - do you know what climate zone you’re in? For example, I’m in Zone 3 here in Calgary - that affects which plants I can plant and expect to survive over winter here. Your local greenhouses should have mostly appropriate plants for your zone, but it’s still a good idea to know your zone and check it when buying plants - they have some zone 5 plants in my local greenhouse that have extremely limited use here.
