The guy seemed like a dick through the tour. Rude to people, shoving his way through, throwing shit. Hi s.o. kissed him but he never actually looked her in the eye when she congratulated him for the stage and tour wins. Maybe it’s the crazy eyes he has… don’t know. Just didn’t find love for the dude.
Now that’s refreshing. The knee-jerk parent’s reaction that they know their kid would never do something like that always pisses me off. Sounds like she’s waiting for the evidence and trying to believe the best from her son. It’s not important, but it’s cool to me.
I understand what you’re saying but this isn’t quite the same as simply being charged with a crime. This is more along the lines of being charged with a crime WHEN there is video evidence of said person commiting the crime. All we are waiting for is to see whether or not there is some sort of alternative explanation for the video.
All that I am saying is that I can understand the impulse to convict him already. I’ll be waiting for the b samples though.
Well, I loved the story, was very enthused when he won, but did get a dick vibe on top of all that. Is it SOP to release the result prior to the second batch being tested or was it leaked or what?
I haven’t been following very closely, but I think it was a leak. The association said an unnamed rider failed his test. Then it sounded like his team admitted it was him and that he was suspended pending the final results. Not sure if there was a leak in between those two that tipped people off or not.
Does anyone know the protocol involved in taking these tests? Aren’t "sample A"and “sample B” taken at the same time? Floyd himself said that he can’t be hopeful of a different result.
The 2006 Tour will go down in history, in more ways than one.
