It was much, much, much worse, but I also got the tetanus booster I needed too. The result was horrible unrelenting muscle pain for 3 days from one bicep all the way across my back to the other bicep. No other side effects but it was more than enough.
Next year I want both shots in the same arm - this year they did the covid shot in one arm and the 2 remaining shots in the other.
