No, Dio and most folks are on the same page. Except for Ellis Dee. He is the one arguing that if Dio alleges that Deadspin alleges that someone made allegations about Brett Favre, that is equivalent to Dio alleges that someone made allegations about Brett Favre.

Although in common speech, we sometimes omit an intermediary step when repeating to others. So Ann might say that last sentence, omitting Ben. Then Zachary hears Ben and Ann separately, and
Zachary hears Ann said that Crystal said Danny is a fink, and also Ben said that Crystal said that Danny is a fink, therefore he decides it is likely that Crystal said that Danny is a fink.
Then Yolanda hears it, and decides that since Ben, Ann, and Zachary all say that Crystal said that Danny is a fink, Danny must be a fink.
I’ll dissect the original for clarity.
Danny may or may not be a fink. We don’t know.
Crystal may or may not think Danny is a fink - we don’t know. Crystal may or may not have said Danny is a fink - we don’t know.
Ben might or might not have heard Crystal say that, and he might or might not have said it - again, we don’t know.
All we know is that Ann is a blabbermouth. 
Exactly. He’s also claiming they’re alleged allegations, so therefore not actually allegations. Everyone agrees SOMEone alleged SOMEthing. No one on the Dope has yet to consider any of the allegations to be backed by any evidence whatsoever (aside from the phone calls that Favre has admitted).
Where? I see where he argues that Deadspin’s allegations do not prove the existence of “someone’s” allegations, but I don’t see where he argues that Deadspin’s allegations are not allegations.
No. I said there were no allegations specifically against Brett Favre. Allegations about what Jenn Sterger said are not allegations against Brett favre.
Honestly, it’s far too tedious of an argument to try to rehash, and it serves only as a semantical point that really has nothing to do with the topic at hand. It’s just Dio being Dio.

If you want to continue the semantics of this, take it to the original thread in the Game Room, where I also won’t be continuing the ridiculous tedium of once again finding out that everyone agrees on what happened, but that one (now two) people disagree on one particular word being used.
If I am one of those two, what I am disagreeing with is your claim that he said that what Deadspin reported was not an allegation. No need to rehash an argument; simply point out where he made that claim.

Semantics is what is at issue in this thread and given the mod ruling it is more than just Dio and I who see a difference in meaning between the statement and the truncated quote.
