I am sitting in the dark, sweating my 'ss off (ok, my computer is on, will switch to laptop soon, but I needed info on this one), thankful that my refridgeator compressor started to turn before all my food was eaten by single cell orginsims.

We have a limited supply of power now and are isolated from the national grid. We don’t have the generation capacity to supply everyone.

And you are using your A/C. Not just one, but three that cool down almost your entire house.

I don’t give a flying 'uck that you are paying for that power, I could very easily pay for it too, but there is not enough for you to climate control your house and also let everyone else run their refigerator to prevent food spoilage.

The power company is still restoring power, and asking you not to run any a/c nor do dishes, or electric dryers. It would also be VERY helpful if you did not use electric stoves and ovens - or at least use them very limited. But you don’t care, you got your power and the 'ell with the rest of the area. You did your dishes, and you used the heated drying setting, while I washed dishes by hand. You also used your electric dryer, while I just piled up and reused dirty sweaty cloths. You are making a roast when you could be cooking something quick, and I used a all gas appliance to cook.

Do me a favor, leave this area, we don’t need people like you here.

My sister and I don’t get along terrifically well, but even I wouldn’t write that about her.

A blatant energy hoover is just as reprehensible when they’re kin.

(I thought this was going to be about all the flash in New York’s Time Square, back up as per usual while many are still without power and more will be subjected to rolling blackouts for conservation, which seemed, somewhat irrationally, quite offensive to me. Of course the power requirements for Times Square are piddling required to the aggregate effects of tens of thousands of thoughtless wasters like kanicbird’s sister, whose excesses don’t even have any decent propaganda value.)
