Following Fall around the world.

Would it be possible to follow a season similar to a Northeastern US Fall around the world? Thinking of becoming a groupie. Deciduous trees a plus.

It’s really more of a north-south thing, rather than east west.

In New England, where I live, the leaves start changing in the far north and work there way down through MA and CT/RI in the space of about a month. Not sure of the timing out west or down in the deep south, but you aren’t going to see a much better show than in New England.

The dates are roughly last week in Sept through the end of Oct.

If you could stretch a 6 month period of so called “Fall Weather” over say North America and then try to do the same for South America you could sort of get it. It may not be “Fall” but it would be pleasant weather.
If you started somewhere in Canada on Labor day then slowly worked your way down through the Midwest and into Florida by the end of February you could then go to the southern tip of South America on March 1st and work your way towards Mexico over 6 months.
Try getting some average monthly temperatures throughout the year for cities starting in the North and you could probably graph out a month/city/average temp chart.

The camphor tree in my parents’ front yard loses its leaves every spring. So you can go catch that if you don’t want to head to the southern hemisphere in March.
