I don’t miss it
I’m surprised that bundt cakes made this list. I thought they were becoming more and more popular. There is even a chain called Nothing Bundt Cakes * that has almost 600 locations around the country
*The (attempted) cutesiness of the name makes me hope they get run out of business, but that’s just me ![]()
It’s been my personal observation that bundt cakes aren’t nearly as common as they used to be. They once used to be a staple at potlucks and bake sales, but not so much any more.

Chicken a la King—good call. I attended a business conference once, where it was served as lunch, and lunch was included in the conference admission. After seeing it, at least one-third of the attendees left to get some lunch elsewhere, on their own dime. I was one. Later, I learned from those who actually ate their Chicken a la King lunch, that they wished they hadn’t.
Pass.
I considered adding both Chicken Fricassee and Chicken Kiev, both popular dishes in the 60s but hardly served today. Your addition of Chicken Maryland is new to me: bananas? I admit, I am intrigued.
