I already posted the chocolate cream pie from my maternal grandmother. The cookie recipe is from the grandmother of some school friends, who did light housekeeping for my parents and is the one who got me interested in baking.

Rarely found nowadays, but popular in the past. Nothing to do with what you might put on hamburgers or hot dogs. Generally, a relish tray would consist of celery, gherkins, and olives, with other raw items (e.g. radishes, carrots, broccoli florets) as desired. We always had one on the table at Thanksgiving.
