Interesting personal observation: Restaurants featuring 1-7 above, I always see a bunch of “white folks” enjoying. But without exception, every Korean restaurant I’ve been to (and I’ve been to quite a few), I’m lucky to see more than one or two other occidental faces. It’s wall to wall Koreans, speaking Korean, enjoying the “Koreanness” of the whole experience. I feel like an interloper in a private club, even though I’m with my Korean wife.
