Foods that don't seem to ever expire

During some grocery shopping this afternoon, I checked the best-by dates on some canned meat & fish.

Observed lengthy:
King Oscar sardines in oil: Nov 2019
Goya corned beef: Aug 2019
Goya spice ham (Spam knockoff): Sept 2019
(I’ll guess that these are dated BB five years from canning.)

Purchased:
Profi ‘Touristic’ pork ham*: Oct 2016
Cento anchovies: Oct 2016
Chicken of the Sea tuna in water: Oct 2017
Iguana En Fuego hot sauce ($2 impulse buy @Marshalls): April 2018
(This one also has a production date of April 2014.)
Red Gold diced tomatoes: Feb 2016

*Same foil packaging type as on that page but a little different label.
Hey, does anyone know what ‘touristic’ / turystyczna means in this context?

It’s unlikely that a bug that can grow happily in horseradish can live in you. Extremophiles, especially extraterrestrial ones like that would need to be, are like that.

Original Tabasco seems to last forever, AIUI it is still good even if the color has changed.

I’ve eaten jam that was over 20 years old, that was perfectly delicious.

Booze. Wait, that might not be counted as food.

Well then you REALLY don’t want to eat it.

Oyster sauce. I’ve had the same bottle since 2008. My sesame oil was outdated in 2013 and just now seems to be a bit rancid.
