Kevin Costner has a new baseball movie coming out called “For Love of the Game”. Does anyone else besides me think it should be “For THE Love of the Game”? I think the original title doesn’t sound right.
Did he direct it? If so, who cares? If the movie is going to be crap anyway, who cares about the title?
Actually, it’s directed by Sam Raimi, who has been moving from his splatter-film roots to a quite respectable career ever since “Darkman.” “A Simple Plan” was one of the most overlooked films of last year, IMHO.
I loved “A Simple Plan”! Confirmed my fear of stupid people in the way only “Deliverance” could before.
