Have none of you folks heard of The Powers of Ten? It’s a nine-minute film made by Ray and Charles Eames in 1977. (You can also get an interactive CD here.) The Web site in the OP basically stole the concept from Eames, leaving a lot of the better info out. If you liked that site, you’ll love the film.
And if that’s not enough, try to catch Cosmic Voyage at an IMAX theater sometime. It’s basically a 40-minute giant-screen treatment of the same concept. Nominated for an Oscar. (Actually, it’s not often booked anymore, so you may have to get the DVD if you really want to see it.)
Powers of Ten was referenced in the text explaining the animation. I was going to post the same thing (PoT being one of my favorite things ever!), then I decided to read all the crap further down the page.
