Fork Hillary 3: The Final Forking

I love Michelle Obama.

The NBC pundits are saying basically the same thing. Maybe not blackmail exactly but leverage. The thing is, it’s waaaaaaaay too early for him to commit to anyone as VP. I hope he doesn’t take her calls until she concedes.

I guess when you win you can just get right to the point. The primary is over. Amen.

Amen!

Amen.

Look where they are holding their speeches
Stadium - Obama
Basement - Clinton

Nuff Said!

“Because of you, I can stand here and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America.”

Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

Is this now officially the longest thread in SDMB history?

Senator Clinton’s got such an opportunity to help bring the party together for a successful general campaign. If only she can get around her gigantic ego.

Good morning, Paul! Sleep well? At least we brought you good news to wake up to!

I love it. Hillary can’t say it, so Obama’s conceding for her.

…and more graciously.

A leader who inspires millions of Americans? Wow, I guess he can afford to be generous.

The applause is kind of tepid, sadly.

There’s something wrong with one of his TelePromtrs, I think. It seems that he can’t read from the prompter in front we he looks straight forward into the main camera. It amounts to very little eye contact with the TV audience. Unfortunate, but maybe I am just imagining things.

It’s barely halfway there. Even if Clinton takes this to Denver, I don’t think you’ll beat the ‘a’ thread.

The speculation over at DKos is that she held it in that basement because there was no cellphone or blackberry service, so no one in the crowd (having been there for hours already) would know that Obama had actually won the primaries tonight.

“I choose to respect his accomplishments even if he chooses to deny mine”

Daaaaaaaaaayum.

Minnesota nice. Poor choice of venue, a bunch of Norwegians sitting on their hands.

I think this thread just went into the number seven slot.

I’m glad he declared that he had the nomination, rather than wiat for a concession.

Let the digs begin!

Seriously…I’ve never seen a worse case of projection in the Democratic Party. Plenty in the Republican Party the last 16 years or so, but never in the Democratic.
