Fork Hillary 3: The Final Forking

I’m not at all surprised that she would sell her soul for a few million bucks. I have it on excellent authority that she mailed scratch ‘n’ sniff flyers in North Carolina. You could scratch off the big silver circle and win a fucking prize.

In other words, nobody really knows. And we won’t until a situation comes up which would bring the whole thing in front of the SCOTUS.

Did they smell like failure and desperation?

No, risotto.

I see him paying off the 10 mil campaign debt. It is essentially hiring her to appease her core so they won’t bolt to macain in a petty huff. As much as he probably dislikes her right now, he would be a fool to say that he doesn’t need her. He’d have to spend a lot more than 10 million dollars to win over her supporters if she stood by on the sidelines and sniped at him.

What? Whites vote for whites, and blacks vote for blacks because it’s “expected that you vote for your own group” and this is “obviously different”?

Voting on the issue of race is stupid - that includes racist whites and blacks who support Obama solely because he’s black.

I hope not. That’s a pretty big position that requires experience and skill. Is she the sort of person you want trying to convince other people to think your way? Keep her somewhere she can do less harm…

So she’s lost a trifecta: money, momentum, and math.

Actually, I would absolutely love it if Obama paid off all of the high schools, hotels, local police departments, restaurants, and other small business and municipalities that Hillary’s campaign stiffed. I would appreciate that statement enormously.

Her debt to Mark Penn, however, she should be stuck with.

Whether her campaign debt is settled will probably be of no consequence, Hillary will examine the topography of her bread and define the location of her political butter. And there is nothing else, she must, simply must throw herself wholeheartedly into the BHO campaign. As much as I dislike her personally, I don’t believe for a second she would wreck the Party’s chances out of spite. If she were to be instrumental in the election of the Old Man Who Yells at Clouds, the people would be mad at her on Inaugaration Day, and would only get madder. (Reminder: do you know where your local pitchfork and torch distribution center is located? Check *Daily Kos * or MoveOn if you are not certain…)

She will suck up wholly, completely and with wild enthusiasm. Personally, I think it would make a pretty good gesture and an astute political move in promoting unity, but there simply *has * to be a legal landmine buried somewhere. Which makes BHO’s best move would be to be sure that its there, then make the offer, only to discover that the legalistic mechanisms of election finance will thwart such a generous and noble gesture. Darn!

However, if it could be done, then Hell, yes!

I would love to see Obama pay Hill’s debt just to see those racist crazies at hillaryis44 heads explode.

P.S. I was surprised to see such blatant racism amongst such a large collection of Dems. Sure, I know that there are racist Democrats but it’s usually veiled and subtle. Seeing those gals rail on and on about “the AAs” was, well, kinda scary.

Fine if he gets to pick the selection criteria of who gets paid back. She shouldn’t see a dime of her money back, and Mark Penn can go fuck himself.

The first slot on the SCOTUS ought to be quite good enough, in a (well) modified Harriet Myers kinda way.

Feinstein to ask Clinton for her primary game plan

Forked.

An MSNBC analyst said today, “Pennsylvania voted for the past; North Carolina voted for the future.”

Heath Shuler is my representative. He’s kind of crap, but he’s so goddam better than the last guy we had (often listed in Top Ten Corrupt Congressmen) that I’m okay with him. And I’m okay with this vote. While my county is full of patchouli-wearing hippies and therefore is solidly Obama, the rest of the district is full of snuff-chawin rednecks and is therefore solidly Clinton. I think the superdelegate system is awful, and Shuler’s decision to make it a little more democratic by going with the district majority seems like a fine and ethical decision to me, even if it leads to today’s only superdelegate for Clinton.

Daniel

Kinda like Harold Stassen, eh?

Isn’t judicial experience of some importance when considering Supreme Court nominees?

It was considered irrelevant in the cases of Earl Warren and Clarence Thomas.

Not true. You’re forgetting the 12th Amendment: “But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”

Bill’s not eligible for President, therefore he’s ineligible for Vice President.
