The forklift safety talk reminds me of when I worked one summer in a lip balm factory. I did a lot of work in the warehouse implementing a new inventory software system, and was just browsing through the forklift manual for funsies one day. It had the usual safety messages, like look where you’re driving, don’t operate with people near by, etc…One of them was “don’t lift objects that are too heavy for the forklift,” and the graphic they chose to go with this was a little sketch of an elephant riding on the forklift! An elephant with a little smile on his face, no less!
This is a common problem? Forklift operators giving rides to elephants?
