Caleb Bankston, the fiance of the hated Colton Cumbie, died yesterday when a train he was working on derailed in Alabama.
He was one of the nicest contestants ever on Survivor. He seemed like a genuine good guy. I never understood his relationship with Colton (and in fact I doubted it’s authenticity) but whatever. I saw in a comment on an online article that they had broken up.

i seem to remember a similar scene in a movie, based on an urban legend(or something).

From what I read in another article he was between two cars on a coal train when he was crushed, working as a conductor so there was no “seat” involved… so as ugly as the accident no doubt was, it certainly didn’t happen as the quoted comment up above. Nice urban legend to bring into the mix though…
Well, shoot. He was one of the nicest people on that season… possibly a Grand Bull Moose Winner of the Dubious Distinction of the Year Award, but still just a really nice guy who played the game to win, not to crush his opponents, fuck people over or just wreak havoc.
Colton is gonna be soooo dramatic about this.
