I have also made the silly but understandable mistake of calling them ‘racist’ or ‘nazi’ or ‘white supremacist’ because that was what I was taught in my anti-racist seminars many years ago.

Then, omit “supremacist.” Call the morons by their own now-preferred label of “White Nationalist,” and confront and attack the inherent silliness of that.
