Have y’all changed it? It looks different somehow - more rounded.
It hasn’t changed as far as I can tell. Have you changed default font settings in your browser or at the OS level? Upgraded your operating system or web browser? Using a different browser altogether? Changed the font size in your browser? New monitor? Changed resolution on your monitor? New light bulb? Old light bulb burnt out? Bought new glasses? Cleaned your old glasses? Undergone Lasik surgery? Gotten a haircut? Had too many beers (or conversely, sobered up?) Bad acid trip? Good acid trip?
I had noticed and asked this question once before. Casting aside some of Mr. Winkelried’s fine guesses, it seems that the HTML code for these pages is written to have main and backup font types. If for some reason your browser can’t find the default type (Arial?) then it may use a different type (Helvetica?) as a backup.
As I said, I have seen this a couple of times, but it has always reverted back.
That’s true ShibbOleth. Very perceptive. Have you added any new fonts to your system? A simple peek at the source code for this page will show that the title line above is preceded by the HTML tag
<FONT face=“arial, helvetica” size=“2” >
By the way, do you say your name Shibboleth or Sibboleth?
My friends go with the former, my enemies the latter.
I’d forgotten I had checked “Smooth edges of screen fonts” in Display Properties! Dummkopf.
