My wife is interested in teaching children, and we’re just looking for information on certain aspects of said pursuit (e.g. does the National Security Language Initiative, or something of the sort, provide grants for native Mandarin speakers to get an education degree?).
It’s probably relevant to note that my wife is a Taiwanese immigrant who has studied in Taiwan and France, but never in the US. It is my understanding that she will have to study in the US before she will be able to teach elementary school here.
