Yeah, but were they clean * after * the accident? 
I’m 22, and the grey hairs are just starting to appear above my left temple. There are about half a dozen now, with more appearing all the time. Usually I crop my hair down to stubble, and sometimes I shave it off completely, so unless you were specifically looking you wouldn’t know.
My father started going grey at around the same age, as have previous generations. Therefore, it hasn’t come as a major surprise, and I can honestly say it doesn’t bother me. Ditto if I ever went bald, it just isn’t something I could get myself worked up over.

You too, huh? I got my first few greys when I was twelve. They’re very rare on my rather rakish red hair, but every now and then, the person cutting my hair points out the occassional grey strand or three. These phantom grey hairs only appear under times of long-term stress for me–like a few months ago, when I was severely depressed. I never get these hairs when life’s not kicking me in the shins.
Yeah, don’t you love that? They have to point out any gray hairs. It’s in their contract.
