My son didn’t potty trained until 3 1/2. Not that we weren’t trying before then, but he wasn’t “ready” - he did change his own pullups beginning about two, which made him in diapers way easier than when he did decide to start using a toilet, because then I had to take him potty when he needed it. And then I went through a two year cycle (with two kids) of having to check out every public bathroom in a three state radius - one of them MIGHT be different!
Yeah, that’s what I used to think. Then I met my nephew. He’s 16 now, and in my opinion, a Teenager Leash would not be a bad idea.
I bring my four year old in a stroller when I have to run into NYC. The stroller provides her with a much needed seat on a crowded train. It also allows me to run down streets really fast. I have to get places quickly and I know she can’t keep up. A stroller also allows me to keep an eye on her. In a very crowded place like Manhattan she could easily get lost.
