Just a general question, why aren’t there specials (be they Fox News or otherwise) detailing the life and times of Mohammed or Budha, or Moses (probably has been a Moses)?

Oh boy, lefties crowing about Fox news! And, as someone else already mentioned, they do have poopy-pants. Of course they’re of the conservative bent, yet deny it, probably don’t even realize it just like Peter, Dan, and the other guy don’t realize how the CBS. Maybe matt’s point was that Fox constantly asserts it own objectivity (“fair and balanced,” “we report, you decide,” etc.) so perhaps their bias is more hypocritical.
I do think that Fox is hypocritical, biased and dumbed-down as hell but the Jesus specials are a staple of televison across the board and FNC is no more hypocritical or glurgy or biased than anyone else in that regard. There are much better reasons to go after Fox.
Yeah, the major media outlets are so liberal-oriented that they’ve been harping on Bush’s 9/11 failures since 2002, when the failings first came to light. Oh, wait, they haven’t…

No, you ninny; what Diogenes said. News sources, particularly those that constantly trumpet that they lack bias, are expected to be unbiased. Individual people aren’t; after all, to hold an opinion is to be biased. Clayton is not a news source.
I think one of the biggest problems, aside from the obvious hypocrisy and bias, is that Fox News is so damn divisive. You are either right or wrong, and fuck you if you’re wrong…you’re practically aiding the enemy. :rolleyes: Considering the current split in this country, feeding off of that divisiveness, while clearly financially prosperous, is terribly immoral and unhealthy for the nation, IMHO.
