Frau BLUCHER!!!!!!!

perfect even…

Nitpick: it wasn’t “I VAS HIS…GIRLLLFRIEND!!!” but rather
“HE VAS MY…BOYRFRIENNND!!!”

Watched it a couple of nights ago with my BOYFRIENNND!! who’d never seen it before. Good fun. (and a good laugh the next day when I broke out with “Ohhhh, sweet mystery of life at last I’ve found you” during an opportune moment…)

mmmmm…spongecake!!!

What else can we throw in the well? [rolls eyes]

Vould you like to go for a roll in zee hay? It’s fun!

“He’s going to have an enormous schvanstuker!”

Sweet mystery of life, at last I’ve found you.

So let me get this straight. The monster got part of your brain. But what part of the monster did you get? Ohhhhhhhhhhh!

(paraphrase)
“You haven’t touched your dinner.”
(slop, slop, slop.)
“There!”

And:
“It’s FRONK-en-STEEN.”

My grandfather’s work was doo doo!
Taffeta, darling

So tell me exactly what you do do

You take the blonde, I’ll take the one in the turban

It’s times like this that I remember what my old dad used to say.

What was that?

What the hell are you doing in the bathroom all day and night? Why don’t you get out of there and give someone else a chance?

Ovaltine?

DESTINY! DESTINY! NO ESCAPING THAT’S FOR ME! DESTINY! DESTINY! NO ESCAPING THAT’S FOR ME!

ok, I’ll let someone else post, too…

“Nice grouping.”

Nice hopping.

I’m going to run by Blockbuster on my way home to rent it - I’d forgotten how damn funny that movie was!

One of Gene Wilder’s best scenes:

“We must accept this as all things, with quiet dignity and grace. YOU SON OF A BITCH BASTARD! I’LL KILL YOU! I DO NOT WANT TO LIVE! I DO NOT WANT TO LIVE!!”

Toi-bun. I’ll take da one in da toibun.

Now GO do that VOOdoo that YOU do so WELL!

Oops, wrong movie.

the classic ‘walk this way. no no no, walk this way…’

and you can’t forget
‘igor!’
‘actually, it’s pronounced eye-gore’

Marty Feldman was a god…

“Come back! I was gonna make espresso…”

Sed-a-GIVE!?!?!

He’s going to be very popular.

You know after a lousy day (week, month), it is nice to find a thoughtful thread… Of course this isn’t it, but lord it did make me laugh. Every scene has something funny in it. My wife and I will still use the Taffeta Darling when we are both dressed up and don’t want to get messed up.

Thank you Quasidmodem for starting this one.

THe original first draft script is here http://www.godamongdirectors.com/scripts/young.shtml

which is very different than the final movie.
