Last year, a guy built a model B-52 with what looked like the same engines. Unfortunately, it crashed.
Probably ducted fans. There are all kinds of big model engines you can use for giant-scale R/C.

I have the video of the crash: the ‘pilot’ attempted too tight a turn. You really need to be in a chase dirigible or helicopter when flying these things.
