Freaky coincidence or something more?

By the way, that doesn’t look right… “coincidence” is that spelled right? Anyways…

Where shall I start? I was strolling down memory lane while driving (not a dangerous thing to do, is it?) and this one incident popped into my head. I decided to share it with all of you. Please, no thanks needed.

One night, or morning rather as it was around 12am-ish, some friends and I decided to go to a cemetary. It was the summer of our Junior year and we were looking for a thrill. Anyway, we drive to this huge cemetary and drive in. Ruth is driving, I’m sitting in the passenger seat, and Laura and Nicole are in the back. Ruth winks at me and turns off the car. Laura and Nicole start freaking out in the backseat yelling for Ruth to turn the car back on. She pretends the car won’t start and by this time they are really freaking out. I start laughing and tell her to quit messing around and start the car. She tries to, and of course…it really did die out. No life…

So here we are stranded in the cemetary late at night. We decide to get out and push it off the main road of the cemetary (don’t ask me why, we just did). We look up and see the name of the road is “Resurrection Drive” how nice. We end up having to hike back to Ruth’s house to get her mom and step-dad to jump start the Camaro. But that’s not the freaky part…

The freaky part is that two months later, when school started again in Sept., Ruth’s step-dad died. He was buried in the same cemetary, and in the exact same spot that we stalled out in…
So what do you think? Freaky coincidence or something more?

WoS

1 vote for coincidence (yes, you did spell it correctly) and nothing more, possibly combined with selective memory, and other psychological effects that usually contribute to this sort of thing.

I know this is straying from the subject, but I see you are from NJ. So am I  This actually happened in South Amboy, NJ though I am from Perth Amboy. Actually now I live in Arkansas. Biiiiiiiig change.

I live not 7 miles from Perth Amboy.

Coincidence of course.

What else are you thinking it might have been? The director of the cemetary saw where you stalled so he killed your friend’s dad and had him buried there to freak you out?

Cool  Most people, even those that don’t live far away, don’t know where that is. So it maybe a little ghetto, but… lol

As for Cisco…um…how did you know about my conspiracy theory? Are you the evil care taker?

I vote for “something more”. Paranormal shit occurs in Perth Amboy on a regular basis.
