Poser. That’s what I took from it. Enjoying the mystique of the military without being able to qualify for the service.
A war fan but not a real military type. A guy like him would have real issues in the army having to live with and depend upon minorities.
He’s sort of like the guy on “The Simpsons” who has the military surplus shop. He lost his arm when he didn’t keep it inside the bus as he was told to.
Disturbingly he reminds me of a close friend of mine back in England. A friend who never served in any kind of way and had a fixation on war and militaria.
