I went to MarCon one year (it’s a science fiction/fantasy convention in Ohio) where, among the skits performed at the Masquerade, was one choice gem. The scene opened inside a happy little Hobbit home with family. Then the music started, and in strolled a young Mr. Spock strumming a Vulcan lute, and lipsyncing to Leonard Nimoy’s The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins. With dancing Hobbits.
