Before and After II

Dolores’s “Before and After” thread made me think she wanted to play “before and after.” Whether she does or not, I do.

The idea is to make as long as a chain of phrases and compound words as possible, by taking the second half of the previous poster’s and using that as the start of a new word. For instance:

Baby rattle: rattlesnake: snake oil: oil well: well- … um …

*… okay, try this: * … Oil slick: Slick Willie: Willie Nelson: Nelson Buntz … uh … Buntz cake? :smiley:

Anyway, the idea is to make as long a chain as possible, so try to come up with something that won’t dead-end like that. (Oh, and quote who you’re responding to, in case we get such an incredible flurry of participation that it gets confusing.)
