<to Labtrash, when I was in (1980-1993) they were phasing out the M101A1 105mm and phasing in the M198 155mm towed, which is what we had in Desert Storm; they also had the 8-inch self-propelleds but I don’t know if any of those made it to Saudi; I was USMC artillery FDC>
